Terms & Conditions for the Dr Goldsmith Membership
- Agreement
By joining the Dr Goldsmith Membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. They explain how the membership works, what you receive, and how billing and cancellations are handled.
- Membership Benefits & Access
As an active Dr Goldsmith member, you’ll have access to:
• Monthly Live Zoom Session — A 60–75 minute group session where I tackle real jewelry problems submitted by members.
• Problem Submission — Members can send in their toughest jewelry problems or questions for me to review. Even if your question isn’t chosen that month, you’ll still learn from the solutions shared.
• Replay Library — Full access to a searchable archive of past sessions, so you can revisit solutions anytime you need them.
• The Gold Mine — A growing collection of guides, tools, and demos created to support your work at the bench.
• Community Access — A private space where members can connect, share progress, and get support.
We’re committed to making these resources available every month and continuing to add to the library and community as the membership grows.
- Fees & Billing
• Monthly Plan — $49/month, auto-billed.
First Launch special: your first month is free; billing starts in month two.
After the first launch, monthly billing begins immediately in month one.
- Annual Plan — $490/year, billed once.
First Launch special — 13 months of membership for the cost of 10 months ($490) + early access to problem submissions.
Standard after the first launch: 12 months of membership for the cost of 10 months ($490) + early access to problem submissions.
- Renewal. Plans auto-renew at the end of each term. After the first launch, annual renewals follow the standard 12-for-10 structure. The launch bonus month is a one-time offer and does not repeat on renewals.
- Renewal & Cancellation
• Memberships automatically renew at the end of each billing period.
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings. If you cancel, your membership will stay active through the end of the paid period. You won’t be charged again.
• Annual memberships renew once a year unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Refunds
Membership fees are non-refundable. If you cancel, you’ll still have access for the remainder of your billing cycle, but no further charges will be made.
- Member Conduct
The Dr Goldsmith community is built on respect and support. Members agree not to:
• Share or distribute membership content outside of the program.
• Post spam, abusive, or harmful content in the community space. No assholes tolerated.
• Share their login details with others.
Membership access is intended for one individual per subscription. Logins may not be shared or transferred.
Violations will result in suspension or removal from the membership without refund.
- Intellectual Property
All content, videos, guides, and resources inside Dr Goldsmith are owned by Jewelry Arts Inc. Members are granted a personal license to access and use the materials for their own learning, but not to copy, resell, or distribute them.
- Changes to the Membership
We may occasionally update features, content, or pricing. If we make material changes, members will be notified in advance.
- Safety First
Jewelry making is hands-on work, and it involves heat, chemicals, sharp tools, and heavy equipment. By joining the Dr Goldsmith Membership, you agree that you are responsible for your own workspace, safety practices, and choice of tools.
Always:
• Use proper ventilation, eye protection, and protective gear.
• Follow safe handling procedures for torches, chemicals, and equipment.
• Work within your own skill level and stop if you feel unsafe.
We share techniques, demonstrations, and solutions for educational purposes. It’s up to each member to apply them responsibly. We are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur while using information from the membership.
- Disclaimers & Limitations
Jewelry making is hands-on, and results vary depending on your own practice. We provide tools, demonstrations, and solutions to guide you, but cannot guarantee specific results.
While we make every effort to provide uninterrupted access, we cannot be held responsible for service interruptions outside our control (such as platform outages or internet disruptions). In such cases, we will resume services as soon as reasonably possible.
Our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid in the current membership period.
- Privacy & Community Content
Content you share in the Dr Goldsmith community remains yours. We will not use your images, projects, or questions outside the membership without your permission.
- Promotional Offers
From time to time we may run special promotions like the one-time free month at launch or other bonuses in the future. These offers only apply during the time they’re active. They don’t apply retroactively to memberships that started earlier or later.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New York, United States.
